He is a retired Peace Officer from the State of California with 33 years of service in Los Angeles County. He co-founded, organized and setup the first Computer Forensic Laboratory for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He was a member of the Southern California High Tech Task Force and the Los Angeles Electronic Crimes Task Force. For last four years, he has worked as the IT Systems Security Analyst, Senior and Computer Forensic Examiner for the Idaho State Police Cyber Crimes Unit. Goldston has testified as an Expert Witness in Computer Forensics for the State of Idaho, in U.S. Federal Court, in Ada County, in Canyon County, in Elmore County, in Idaho County, in Jerome County, in Kootnai County and in Latah County. In California, he has testified as an Expert Witness in U.S. Federal Court, California Superior Court, California Municipal Court, Civil depositions, and Los Angeles County Civil Service Employment hearings.
